Added Value Sites: Forces of Nature This website is very interactive and gives the students a chance to choose the correct conditions to create their groups disaster. This website is more interactive than any textbook or worksheet can be, and allows for more student engagement.
Wiki: Each group will participate in creating a group wiki to share with the class about the information they learned about their disaster. This helps the students with knowledge sharing in a social-forum and the awareness of writing for an audience.
Blog: The students will use teh classroom blog to reflect on thier learning experiences and give feedback to thier fellwo classmates on thier reflections. This will help teh students to share knowledge on a social forum and give them the awareness for writing for an audience.
Computers are also needed for the students to research.
